A BUNCH OF MOTO HOBOS
Over the years we’ve developed the best motorcycle tent for our own trips. It had to pack so small that it would go anywhere on your bike and not bother you. It had to pitch big, so you had room to stretch after being hunched over your bars all day. It had to be practical, so it pitches within a few minutes. It had to be reliable, so any rain might add some nice ambient sounds but stay the fuck out. It had to work with any bike. Be adaptable to any environment, and lastly, it better not ruin your camping experience by locking you inside it. That’s how we ended up with the Rolling Palace Moto Tent.

WHEN NOTHING CAN BE ADDED OR TAKEN AWAY
Less is more, especially on a bike. Your gear is there to protect you, not to get in the way. Anything that doesn’t make a bike trip more fun doesn’t belong there. That’s why we didn’t stop developing until we reached that point of having everything you really need, and nothing you don’t.

TINY OR HUGE, WHICH ONE IS IT NOW?
Both. At 2kg and with only 34 x 14 cm this thing wraps tiny. Especially when considering that it expands to a whole palace within minutes. I mean, come on, 150 x 200 x 90 cm sleeping compartment PLUS additional storage for all your gear at the foot end is insane.

LET'S FACE IT, A MOTORBIKE IS JUST A GLORIFIED TENT POLE ANYWAY
Getting more than one use out of anything on a bike trip is gold dust. And the classic lean-to shelter, the creative foundation of the Rolling Palace, had this figured out way back when it simply used the bike as part of your tent's structure. Besides more head/leg room and better protection against the elements, it was flexibility that was lacking for us in the design of the original Lean-To.
Let's say soft ground has you worrying about your bike burying you underneath it in the middle of the night, or you find the perfect spot, but just don't feel like doing a Steve McQueen and jumping a fence that day to get your bike there with you. That's why we designed the Rolling Palace Moto Tent so it can be pitched 360º around literally any motorbike, or anything else that's tall enough to be a tent pole. And if things get super tricky, just make use of the spare attachment points and pitch it in any formation you can think of.

SUBSTANCE WITH STYLE
A double PU coating doesn't just give your roof 5000 mm waterproofness, it also makes it incredibly durable, so you're covered for a very long time. Our single pole system, reclaimed from vintage army gear, is made of good old aluminium to keep it light and sturdy. Profile steel pegs to keep it straight in any ground and checked paracord stops you tripping. When selecting materials, performance was key and looks a close second. This world has enough junk, that's why we wanted to create something that lasts.
